Bearstone Horse Cookie Co. is located in Washington State in rural Kitsap County. We were established in 2002. Company founder Kip Briggs has sent a letter to Country Magazine’s “Can You Help Me” section, asking readers for any good horse treat recipes that she could make for her two horses, Maggi Sioux and Skyfeather Dancer. Her letter was printed in their FEB/MAR 2002 issue, and the response was overwhelming. After a lot of testing & experimenting, the basic recipe for Bearstone Bites was created. Kip’s horses loved the treats so much that she decided to sell them and so the company was born. Bearstone Horse Cookie Co. has blossomed and is now a family run business. Our products are now for sale at many Washington tack and feed stores, and here on our website. Our goal is to take our products nationwide. Look for us soon on eBay and Amazon.com.
