Bearstone Horse Cookie Co. strives to use ‘horse friendly’ ingredients in our products. We use a horse feed that we buy directly from our local feed mill, so its as fresh as we can get it. It’s a 12% horse feed with an extremely low molasses volume. We purchase our other grains from the same mill. Because we add molasses to our mixture to assist with keeping the grain sticking together, we use a grain with the lowest molasses volume we can find. We only use Livestock Molasses; not human molasses, in our treats. We then add a small amount of flour & lite corn syrup to assist the molasses in keeping everything together. Because our operation is small, we make them by hand by the people who love horses. After baking, the cookies are cooled overnight, then packaged fresh and sent on their way to a very happy horse.


Bearstone Bites
Our Original recipe; its made of Rolled Oats, 12% Horse Feed, Flour, Lite Corn Syrup and Livestock Molasses. These tasty bites will have your horse nodding for more. No added preservatives, even picky horses will enjoy them and, they make a great “ice breaker” when trying to get close to a new horse.

Gourmet Show Cookies
This is a special developed recipe with showing/ performance horses in mind. These yummy treats are made of 15% Performance Horse Feed, Barley, Flour, Livestock Molasses, Lite Corn Syrup, Corn Oil, and Flaxseed. The flaxseed helps with a shiny coat; there is less corn syrup and the corn oil is added to keep the sugar rush down and an aid to slow digestion. Available in one and two pound sizes*, these cookies are just the thing to us as a quick treat for rewarding your show horse for all that hard work.

Christmas Stockings
We have created two new special Christmas cookie recipes just for the holiday season; we have added peppermint extract & oatmeal with some of our original recipe ingredients. One is a minty cookie baked in Holiday shapes; the other is a special recipe that we baked into two different Large Holiday Cookies- a Christmas Tree and a Snowman. The Snowman comes with a small candy cane. These cookies are only available in the LARGE Stocking. Our Stockings are made of red mesh and are stuffed with holiday treats for your favorite equine buddy. They come in two sizes, but are only available October thru December.


Bearstone Mini Pack (smaller stocking) 11 oz - Contains three small bags of cookies; two bags are our original Bearstone Bites cookies, and one bag is our special Holiday cookies. Also included are two small candy cane nuggets.
